Allereerste beachvolleybalveld op school

Op 27 februari 2025 vierden we een bijzonder moment op de Jamisa School in Brikama, Gambia – de lancering van het allereerste beachvolleybalveld ooit op een schoolcampus in Gambia en heel Afrika! 🌍🎉

🛠️ Onder leiding van het energieke team Dolfijn Beachvolleybal, onder leiding van Felix Lopez, Lisette Hartman-van Dekken en Leane van Silfhout, werd deze droom in slechts twee weken tijd werkelijkheid dankzij de medewerking van de nationale volleybalfederatie en lokale beachvolleyballers. Het was alle hens aan dek en het harde werk werd prachtig beloond. Wij zijn meer dan trots op alle betrokkenen!

🥁🎶 De opening was een schot in de roos, compleet met een levendige drumband en dansers die iedereen, vooral de kinderen, in de stemming brachten. De sfeer was energiek, vreugdevol en vrolijk!

Let’s keep the ball flying en dromen waarmaken voor de jeugd van Gambia! 🌟🏐

Inauguration of the Beachvolleybal court at Jamisa School Brikama

Grand opening alert! On February 27, 2025, we celebrated a monumental moment at Jamisa School in Brikama, The Gambia – the launch of the first-ever beach volleyball court on a school campus in The Gambia and whole Africa! 🌍🎉

🛠️ Spearheaded by the unstoppable team Dolfijn Beachvolleyball, led by Felix Lopez, Lisette van Dekken, and Leane van Silfhout, this dream turned into reality in just two weeks with the collaboration of the national volleyball federation and local beachvolleyball players. It was all hands on deck, and the hard work paid off beautifully. We’re beyond proud of everyone involved!

🥁🎶 The opening was a hit, complete with a vibrant drum band and dancers that got everyone, especially the kids, into the groove. The energy was electric, the vibes were joyful, and the dance moves were unstoppable!

Lets keep the ball flying and making dreams come true for the youth of The Gambia! 🌟🏐
